About Us
We are a team of scientists (professors and students) from across the nation.
We are interested in the things in our lives that influence the health of ourselves and our loved ones. Our team has a particular interest in fathers but our research includes all members of the family. The majority of the tasks we ask parents to work on will include self-report questionnaires. We also ask that parents and their children participate in structured activities in our lab and/or in your home during pre-planned visits. We use saliva to measure biological components of health (e.g., hormones) using cotton swabs and cheek swabs. These methods are not invasive and can be used by parents without help from a member of our team.
